What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Similar technology, such as local storage, does the same job. Some are needed for a site to work, and some are used for ads or measurement.
What this site uses today
- Consent choice (necessary). The cookie banner is run by Consently. It saves your choice in your browser and logs it so the banner doesn't keep asking and your choice can be honored.
- Theme setting (preference). If you switch between light and dark mode, the site saves that in your browser's local storage under the name "fpc-theme". It isn't a cookie and isn't sent to us.
- Calculators. The calculators run in your browser and don't set cookies.
The site uses Umami for basic visit statistics. We host it ourselves, and it counts page views, the page you came from, browser, device type and country without using cookies. Nothing it records is used to build a profile of you or for advertising.
Advertising cookies
The site shows ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners can set advertising cookies, but only after the consent banner has asked you where the law requires it. To turn off personalized ads, use Google's Ads Settings. The Privacy Policy explains more.
Change or withdraw your choice
Use the cookie banner's settings control to review or change your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, the calculators still work, though the banner may ask again.
